Ryde Education Merit Awards (REMA) 2024 Is Now Open!

REMA 2024 is an investment in the future which promotes educational excellence and provides all students from various backgrounds the opportunity to succeed in a more level playing field. It also reflects Ryde’s commitment to our driver-partners and their children, reinforcing the company’s values of support, inclusivity, and community development.

 

It is a strategic program that offers awards and financial aid while recognising the hard work and achievement of our valued Ryde driver-partners’ children. By providing financial support and celebrating excellence, we aim to cultivate a culture of high achievement and equal opportunity.

 

The REMA 2024 application is now open till 15 December 2024, 23:59. More details can be found in the guide below!

All full time students who are a Singaporean or PR and whose parent is a verified and active PDVL, TDVL, or Carpool Ryde driver-partners are eligible to apply for REMA 2024 via this Application Form: https://forms.gle/KawUt34haWuNrC5U8.

  • ‘Verified’ is defined as the Ryde driver-partner being successfully verified through the Ryde Driver App
  • ‘Active’ is defined as completing at least one trip for the last 12 months

Open to students who possess: 

  • Exceptional academic results, and/or 
  • Outstanding co-curricular / extracurricular activities record
  • An insightful and reflective personal experience

Only students from Primary 2 to those who have just completed an undergraduate university program are eligible to apply. Other T&Cs apply.

With valid reasons, appeals can be submitted to [email protected] with the subject title of “REMA 2024 Application Appeal – [Applicant Full Name]”. 

 

While appeals submitted will be reviewed and evaluated on a case by case basis, they are not guaranteed to be accepted for REMA 2024 applications.

The shortlisted student applicant, with the exception of students aged 13 and below, will be contacted directly by the Ryde Team for information regarding the next stage of application via the email address and/or mobile number provided in the Application Form.

If the student applicant is aged 13 and below, the Ryde driver-partner parent will be contacted instead.

Note that the shortlisted student applicant must be present for all scheduled interviews to be eligible for REMA 2024. Applications will be rejected if the student applicant is unable to attend any interviews without valid reasons.
